Bringing music back to one of the country’s best waterfront settings, THE POINT is set to be an exciting new addition to the Australian music calendar. Presented by Fuzzy, the live music series will welcome some of the country’s most beloved acts to a floating stage at The Fleet Steps, located at Mrs Macquaries Point this September, October and November.

Offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience live music against one of Australia’s most famous backdrops, THE POINT arrives with the intention of becoming a staple for music fans looking to immerse themselves in a one-of-a-kind sonic environment.
Kicking things off as part of the series is legendary Australian band ICEHOUSE, whose catalogue spans decades of iconic hits, on Wednesday 30 September. Led by the inimitable Iva Davies, ICEHOUSE have remained one of Australia’s most captivating live bands, with hits including ‘Great Southern Land’, ‘Electric Blue’, ‘Crazy’ and more continuing to resonate with new generations of fans each year.
On Thursday 1 October, five-time ARIA Award winning artist and ARIA Hall of Fame inductee MISSY HIGGINS will perform her only Sydney show for 2026, for THE POINT. As one of Australia’s most enduring songwriters, Missy Higgins‘ music has shaped the lives of many music fans. From ‘Scar’, through to ‘Where I Stood’ and ‘Futon Couch’, the songwriter has released numerous defining career moments; with her 2024 album The Second Act, Missy reaffirmed her status as one of Australia’s finest.

The following night, Friday 2 October, The Fleet Steps welcomes the soul-drenched sounds of THE TESKEY BROTHERS. Marking the tenth anniversary of their breakthrough debut album, Half Mile Harvest, the band brings a special celebration of their music to this unique setting; inviting their legion of fans to experience this milestone with them. Since releasing Half Mile Harvest, THE TESKEY BROTHERS have achieved global recognition and a fierce following for their fusion of old-school blues and contemporary influences – seeing them bring it home in this way makes their Harbourside show an unmissable event.
THE POINT readies itself to usher in summer with its November line up, with the surefire chaos that is HOT DUB TIME MACHINE‘s popular HOT DUB ON THE HARBOUR dance party. Held on Friday 20 November, the event returns to celebrate five years of one of Sydney’s favourite waterfront parties; a time-travelling set through music that has soundtracked generations and eras of club culture.
And capping off the inaugural season of THE POINT will be the return of HARBOURLIFE on Saturday 21 November – staging a huge return of the iconic festival brand with performances by artists including HONEY DIJON, MAX DEAN, LUKE DEAN, BEN STERLING, OMAR+, HONEYLUV, JORDAN BRANDO, MORGAN SEATREE and more.
Tickets for ICEHOUSE, HOT DUB ON THE HARBOUR and HARBOURLIFE are on sale now, while tickets for these exclusive shows from MISSY HIGGINS and THE TESKEY BROTHERS are on sale to the general public from 12pm AEST, Thursday 16 July.
