There was a rush to secure tickets for a day on the green’s Victorian concert with JOHN FARNHAM at Rochford Wines with tickets selling out quickly this morning.
Due to overwhelming demand a day on the green is thrilled to confirm a second and final show at Rochford Wines, Yarra Valley on Sunday December 9. Tickets go on sale on Monday July 16 at 10am from Ticketmaster.
The event on Saturday December 8 is now completely sold out with 12,000 lucky fans attending.
In news that has thrilled fans across the country, JOHN FARNHAM will perform songs from Whispering Jack for this special series of a day on the green concerts. John and his amazing band will play the much-loved 1986 album, plus a selection of other greatest hits.
Speaking to News Ltd. about the upcoming a day on the green tour, JOHN FARNHAMsaid: “I get a bit more gregarious when I’m working outside. It’s a whole different feel; I jump up and down like a 20 year old.”
Joining John will be a stellar cast of guests – DARYL BRAITHWAITE, RICHARD MARX, RUSSELL MORRIS and BACHELOR GIRL.
It’s been a similar story in other states with tickets selling quickly for the shows at Bimbadgen, NSW, Sirromet Wines, QLD and Leconfield Wines, SA – a result which reinforces a day on the green’s popularity as one of Australia’s most popular outdoor concert events.
Sunday’s Victorian show will run earlier with gates opening at 12 noon and John on stage at 6.00pm.
