Torpedohead return with new single and video ‘Rotten Radio’

by

Torpedohead released their brand new video “Rotten Radio” on Friday the 13th of April and the accompanying single will be available as a “free download” from the bands Facebook site in the following week.

“Rotten Radio” is the first preview from Torpedohead’s upcoming second album ‘Greetings From Heartbreak Key’, packed with driving rock n’ roll anthems and set to be released later this year.

Torpedohead stepped into the rock n’ roll circus in 2008 and the trio lives the imagination of the New York Dolls jamming on Cheap Trick tunes, while transforming this into their own modern rock sound.

The band has been giging relentlessly in Germany and other European countries, supporting international rock acts such as the legendary New York Dolls, Peter Pan Speedrock, Dan Baird, and Prima Donna among others.

After hitting the streets with their debut Album ‘Lovesick Avenue, in 2010, Torpedohead set up their home at the famous Woodhouse Studios in Germany to record the five track EP ‘Let’s Go For A Ride’ with producer Siggi Bemm (Kreator, Lacuna Coil). The release kickstarted an avalange of great reviews in the press and left fans screaming for more.

Wasting no time, the trio returned to the Woodhouse studio shortly afterwards to record their new album ‘Greetings From Heartbreak Key’, set for release in 2012.

“It’s like a party tape for people who plan on burning the house down as soon as the party is over!” (Classic Rock Magazine / UK)
