PRIMAL ROCK REBELLION – THE NEW STUDIO PROJECT FEATURING IRON MAIDEN GUITARIST ADRIAN SMITH & FORMER SIKTH FRONT-MAN MIKEE GOODMAN – CONFIRMS RELEASE OF NEW SINGLE / VIDEO, ‘NO PLACE LIKE HOME’

PRIMAL ROCK REBELLION have released their debut single, ‘No Place Like Home’.

The single has been released as a strictly Limited Edition black 10” vinyl exclusive from What Records, and as a digital download. Both formats feature the brand new studio recording ‘Bright As A Fire’. The video for ‘No Place Like Home’ was co-directed by Mikee & Meats Meier, a renowned CGI artist based in Los Angeles who provided the illustrations for both the single & album artwork…

“Basically, ‘No Place Like Home’ is a song about escapism,” explains Mikee. “As you can see from the video, the verses are about someone going into a city, and all they see is darkness, negativity & despair. It’s about feeling really claustrophobic and wanting to go somewhere else – somewhere magical, somewhere that probably doesn’t exist. I think a lot of people have that in their lives, at certain stages. So it’s saying, ‘There’s no place like home – but it ain’t here!’

‘No Place Like Home’ & ‘Bright As A Fire’ feature on the forthcoming Primal Rock Rebellion album, ‘Awoken Broken’ – an 11-track outing produced by Adrian & Mikee, and due out in Australia on March 2.
