“This is our first and of course we are going to give our best and do our thing that we do best and hopefully we are going to have a great time together…”
From Release: Girish And The Chronicles make their first-ever Australian tour in March 2026, unleashing their high- voltage live show alongside Melbourne hard-rockers Shotgun Mistress. Based in Bengaluru, GATC have become one of India’s most prominent rock exports. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Girish Pradhan, the band’s acclaimed albums and relentless touring have fuelled a fast-rising global profile, including performances with Guns N’ Roses, Skid Row, Alter Bridge and Hollywood Vampires. They supported GNR at Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena in 2023 and again in India in 2025.
GATC also made history in 2025 as the first Indian rock band to reach the America’s Got Talent Season 20 quarterfinals, earning major international support. With worldwide festival dates locked in for 2026, they hit Australia in peak form.
We caught up with Yogesh of GATC to talk about the bands upcoming debut tour of Australia, their music, cover songs, influences, opening for huge bands, and so much more…
