RICK PRICE Celebrates ‘TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN’ 30th Anniversary Album Tour

by

Back in April 1995, Australian singer-songwriter Rick Price released “River of Love”, the first single from his much-loved album Tamborine Mountain, which followed in July of that year. The single, along with the album, made an instant impact on the ARIA Charts, cementing Rick’s place as one of the country’s most enduring musical talents.

Produced by Rick and acclaimed New York producer Ben Wisch, Tamborine Mountain featured an impressive line-up of collaborators including guitar virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel on “Foolish Heart” and pop powerhouse Tina Arena, who joined Rick for the moving duet “Trust Me This Is Love.” The album’s title pays tribute to the stunning rainforest region in the Gold Coast Hinterland near Beaudesert—Rick’s childhood home and the inspiration behind many of the songs.

Following the heartfelt lead single “River of Love”, the album delivered another emotional highlight with “Bridge Building Man”, written as a touching tribute to Rick’s father and grandfather. These tracks, alongside chart-topping classics like “Heaven Knows,” “Not A Day Goes By,” and “Walk Away Renée,” continue to be staples in Rick’s live shows.

Now, in celebration of Tamborine Mountain’s 30th anniversary, Rick Price is hitting the road for a very special national tour across Australia. Fans from every corner of the country will have the chance to relive the soundtrack of the mid-90s as Rick performs this iconic album in its entirety, along with fan favourites from his extensive catalogue.

This milestone tour will take Rick to major cities and regional centres, delivering heartfelt performances that honour his roots and the journey that shaped his career. With decades of hits and a voice that only deepens with time, these shows promise to be unforgettable.

Come and celebrate the legacy of Tamborine Mountain and experience these timeless songs live coming to a stage near you in 2025.
