Following three successful years entertaining Sydney audiences, much-loved concert series Night at The Barracks returns to Manly’s beautiful North Head Sanctuary in September with the award-winning organisers excited to announce an expansion into Brisbane.
The inaugural Night at The Parkland series of concerts at the spectacular Amphitheatre, Roma Street Parkland is scheduled for September. Second Sunday are thrilled to be working in association with Brisbane Festival to launch this series in Queensland.
The finest live music talent in Australia is set to thrill music lovers across 4 weekends in Manly from 12th September to 5th October, with the inaugural Brisbane series commencing on 5th September and running across 2 weekends, concluding on 14th September.

The breathtaking concert series under the stars will feature performances from some of the country’s finest! ICEHOUSE, Amy Shark, James Johnston, Grinspoon’s 30th Birthday Bonanza, Cut Copy with guest KLP and Lime Cordiale are confirmed for both Sydney and Brisbane events.
Missy Higgins, Kate Ceberano: Australian Made, Hoodoo Gurus: 40th anniversary of Mars Needs Guitars, Ian Moss and Mark Seymour, Furnace and The Fundamentals 15th Anniversary Celebration and Yesterday’s Gone: The Fleetwood Mac Legacy are scheduled for Sydney, whilst Xavier Rudd will round out the programme for Brisbane.

Together with the event’s major partners both Night at The Barracks and Night at The Parkland are deeply committed to pursuing environmental sustainability, actively seeking and integrating progressive green initiatives, working towards redefining eco-consciousness within Australian events. From reusable aluminium cups and merchandise made from 100% recycled materials to waste management and powering the site from 100% renewable energy, minimising our carbon footprint is at the core of all of our planning and execution. Once again we will be encouraging ticket holders to use public transport and there will also be bike racks on site to encourage visitors to cycle to the event.
Manly’s North Head Sanctuary is a hidden wonderland, and ticket holders can journey into this enchanting location steeped in historical significance and natural beauty, gazing up into the night sky whilst experiencing some of Australia’s most extraordinary talent.

The stunning Roma Street Parkland nestled within Brisbane City is the world’s largest subtropical garden in an urban centre.
