ZAC BROWN BAND confirm headline tour dates

After leaving a trail of dropped jaws and newly-converted hardcore fans in the wake of their first trip down under, three-time GRAMMY Award-winning Zac Brown Band are heading back to Australia in 2015 for their first headline tour. Chugg Entertainment and Rob Potts Entertainment Edge today confirmed a return tour to Australia for the seven million album-selling, genre-defying band whose incredible musical virtuosity and unerring ability to craft ear-catching hits have earned them accolades far and wide.

This welcomed return to Australia is announced after the release of Zac Brown Band’s first ever career anthology, Greatest Hits So Far… The album collects Zac Brown Band’s momentous run of 11 #1 singles, from 2008’s double-platinum debut, Chicken Fried to 2013’s Sweet Annie. Further highlights include chart-topping classics like As She’s Walking Away (Feat. Alan Jackson), Knee Deep (feat. Jimmy Buffett), and Goodbye In Her Eyes, as well as such fan favorites as Whatever It Is, No Hurry, and Jump Right In (from 2012’s GRAMMY Award-winning Uncaged).

Already announced for Bluesfest and Big Sky Blues & Roots, Zac Brown Band will play the Palais Theatre in Melbourne on Tuesday 31st March, and Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday 1st April.

Three-time GRAMMY winners and multi-platinum artists Zac Brown Band have become one of music’s most heralded acts. The band’s three platinum-selling albums, Uncaged, You Get What You Give, and The Foundation have sold over seven million copies total and produced an historic series of eleven #1 hit singles. The band performed for over 1.1 million fans in 2014 and just wrapped the ‘Great American Road Trip Tour,’ which included a sold-out, two-night stand at Fenway Park without any support acts — a feat only accomplished by four other bands (Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band, The Police and The Rolling Stones) and a performance at Wrigley Field.

In 2014, Zac Brown collaborated with Foo Fighters on Congregation, a song from their new album Sonic Highways, appeared on the band’s HBO series of the same name, and performed Black Sabbath’s War Pigs with the band on Late Night with David Letterman. Most recently, Zac Brown Band performed Fortunate Son with Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen on the HBO Veterans Day Concert for Valor broadcast.
