Tallahassee, Florida’s Mayday Parade have unveiled the details for their forthcoming new album Monsters In The Closet, set for release on October 11 via Fearless/Shock Records.
Monsters In The Closet was recorded with producers Kenneth Mount and Zack Odem (All Time Low, The Summer Set, We Are The In Crowd) and is Mayday Parade’s fourth studio album.
“I am so proud of everyone in the band, we’ve come a long way these past eight years and each person really stepped it up and killed it with Monsters In The Closet,” notes lead singer Derek Sanders. “It’s hard to believe we’ve made it through four albums – we’ve become more comfortable with our sound with each one and this is my favourite of all of them. “We are so excited to release our first song ‘Ghosts’ off our newest album Monsters In The Closet,” says bassist Jeremy Lenzo. “This song has to do with your inner demons, and it portrays that in a literal sense by referring to them as ghosts and how they are always with you. We can’t wait for everyone to hear all the songs on Monsters In The Closet. I think this album has a little bit of everything, and we hope everyone enjoys this album as much as we loved creating it.”
