As the progenitors of hard rock, Black Sabbath blazed a trail for generations of musicians and fans to follow. Now, after nearly 35 years between albums, Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, and Geezer Butler have returned as conquering rock overlords with the release of their brand new opus, 13.
Joining them at the 13 sessions was drummer Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine) and producer Rick Rubin. The end result is a thundering nine-song testament to Black Sabbath’s enduring effect on rock music both today and since their last recorded album together, 1978’s Never Say Die!
