The young people of Brisbane have something to celebrate upon their return to school with today’s announcement of the LIVE IT UP Festival on April 13 this year at the RNA Showgrounds.
With early bird tickets on sale now LIVE IT UP is Brisbane’s first major festival targeting under 18s and includes The Amity Affliction, Pez, The Getaway Plan, Chance Waters, Pigeon and MESSRS.
“Under 18’s shows are such an important part of what we do. An event like LIVE IT UP is an awesome addition to Brisbane’s calendar because it gives our younger fans an opportunity to get out and party with us!” said The Amity Affliction’s Ahren Stringer.
The event will also allow budding young entrepreneurs to get rewarded for promoting the event to their friends either in person or on Facebook with an innovative peer to peer program available at http://www.liveitupfestival.com.au/make-cashola/
“We wanted to create an event that was totally for under 18s from the ground up,” said successful local promoter and Live It Up founder Zanda Strofield. “This is for young people who want to hear some of Australia’s most exciting young acts in a cool environment where they can hang out with their friends and it’s all about the music.”
The drug and alcohol free event will provide a real festival experience like no other in Brisbane – without the tools.
Earlybird tickets are available from 10am Wednesday 23rd for just $37+bf from www.liveitupfestival.com.au – and UNIVERSAL STORE outlets across South East Queensland.
