It’s been one hell of a ride for legendary Australian funk rockers Skunkhour, and to celebrate they’re playing a 20th anniversary ONE OFF show. On Saturday November 10, Skunkhour will return to Sydney’s The Standard, the area where the band carved out their reputation as one of Australia’s greatest 90s acts.
Over 10 years, across 2 major labels, releasing 4 albums and numerous EPS and singles the band blazed a trail and generated an intensely loyal live following around Australia and abroad. As staples of the Triple J hottest 100 throughout that time, they wove strands of funk, alt-rock, rap and pop into a brilliant sound, regarded by most as way ahead of it’s time.
