Following the release of their tenth studio album ‘Vol. 10’ earlier this year, multi-platinum selling US rockers Buckcherry have announced their 2024 Australian tour.
Kicking off on September 24 at the Astor Theatre in Perth, the band will then head to Melbourne and Sydney, wrapping the tour in Brisbane at The Triffid on September 28.
Lead singer Josh Todd said today, “We are looking forward to coming back to Australia and sharing the stage with the legendary Rose Tattoo. It’s gonna be a rock n roll experience you don’t wanna miss!”
The announcement of these much-anticipated shows comes almost two years after their last visit with Rose Tattoo appearing as the special guest for all shows outside of Perth.*
The recording of the band’s new album ‘Vol. 10’ in Nashville saw them once again work with famed producer Marti Frederiksen, a pairing that Todd depicts as “inspiring”. The 11 track long-player features a cover of Bryan Adam’s hit “Summer Of 69” along with 10 new Buckcherry originals including their latest single “Let’s Get Wild”. View clip here.
On working with Frederiksen, Todd explains, “He really brings out the best of us and becomes the sixth band member when we are together. There is mutual respect and passion that goes on that makes it effortless and fun.”
