The 2012 Splendour in the Grass festival is heading back to Byron Bay for the first time in 3 years and over 70 acts are set to put on the homecoming party.
Tom & Alex had the honour of announcing the full line up this morning on triple j breakfast and while there wasn’t any holograms included on the bill; there are few bands coming back from the dead.
Following their reformation gig at Coachella over the weekend, Texan outfit At The Drive-In will make their first visit to Australia in over a decade. The Shins return after 5 years away, Bloc Party make a comeback amidst break up rumours, Jack White will revive someWhite Stripes classics and The Afghan Whigs are resurrected after splitting in 2001.
