The 2012\u00a0Splendour in the Grass<\/strong>\u00a0festival is heading back to Byron Bay for the first time in 3 years and over 70 acts are set to put on the homecoming party.<\/p>\n

Tom & Alex<\/strong>\u00a0had the honour of announcing the full line up this morning on\u00a0triple j<\/strong>\u00a0breakfast and while there wasn’t any holograms included on the bill; there are few bands coming back from the dead.<\/p>\n

Following their\u00a0reformation<\/a>\u00a0gig at Coachella over the weekend, Texan outfit\u00a0At The Drive-In<\/strong>\u00a0will make their first visit to Australia in over a decade.\u00a0The Shins<\/strong>\u00a0return after 5 years away,\u00a0Bloc Party<\/strong>\u00a0make a comeback amidst\u00a0break up rumours<\/a>,\u00a0Jack White<\/a>\u00a0will revive someWhite Stripes<\/strong>\u00a0classics and\u00a0The Afghan Whigs<\/strong>\u00a0are resurrected after splitting in 2001.<\/p>\n

There’s plenty of other acts making the trip so without further ado, we present to you, the\u00a0Splendour in the Grass<\/strong>\u00a0line up for July 27,28 and 29 – 2012:<\/p>\n
