New York, NY<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 St. Louis rock band\u00a0Cavo\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0highly anticipated sophomore album\u00a0Thick as Thieves<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0was released today on\u00a0Eleven Seven<\/strong>\u00a0Music<\/strong>.\u00a0 The album, produced by\u00a0Kato Khandwala<\/strong>\u00a0(Blondie, Drowning Pool),\u00a0David Bendeth<\/strong>\u00a0(Paramore, Papa Roach, Breaking Benjamin) and\u00a0Dan Korneff<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(All That Remains, My Chemical Romance), was recorded at House of Loud Studios in New Jersey. Last week the band announced an intimate, invitation-only hometown CD release show at\u00a0Cicero\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>in the Loop on\u00a0Sunday,<\/strong>\u00a0April 15th<\/sup><\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0In conjunction with 105.7 The Point and Eleven Seven Music,\u00a0Vintage Vinyl<\/strong>\u00a0is proud to present the\u00a0Cavo \u2018Golden Ticket\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0promotion to offer entry into this \u2018one-time-only\u2019 show for a select few fans.\u00a0\u00a0Beginning TODAY, a limited number of special\u00a0Golden Tickets<\/strong>\u00a0will be hidden inside random copies of the band\u2019s new album\u00a0Thick as Thieves,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0exclusively at Vintage Vinyl in the U-City Loop in St. Louis. The lucky few who purchase copies of\u00a0Thick as Thieves<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0containing one of the Golden Tickets will gain entry with one guest to the Cicero\u2019s show on the 15th<\/sup>. Cavo experienced an incredible measure of success with its debut, 2009’s\u00a0Bright Nights Dark Days<\/em>, which yielded the No. 1 hit “Champagne.” The band\u2019s rise to the top of the charts and subsequent touring nearly tore them apart, leaving their relationships with each other and as a unit in shreds.\u00a0\u00a0After a brief break and careful examination of their friendships and motives, Cavo decided to soldier on together.\u00a0\u00a0Thick as Thieves<\/em>\u00a0is the band\u2019s testament to their bond that was once broken and has now been rebuilt and even strengthened. The title track and first single showcases front man Casey Walker\u2019s soaring vocals with a message furthering the notion that things are tighter than ever in the Cavo ranks.<\/p>\n
