\"\"<\/a>JOE WALSH TO RELEASE ANALOG MAN<\/em> ON JUNE 1st<\/sup> – FIRST SOLO ALBUM IN TWO DECADES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grammy Award winning rock and roll legend Joe Walsh returns with Analog Man<\/em>, his first solo album in two decades to be released on June 1st<\/sup>, 2012 from Fantasy Records\/Concord.\u00a0 Analog Man<\/em> is both modern and timelessly soulful, packed with Walsh\u2019s beloved wit, charm and chops; it delivers an incredibly raw and intimate sound.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been 20 years and I have a lot to say,\u201d said Walsh.\u00a0 \u201cThese songs come from the heart.\u201d\u00a0 Walsh, best known for his powerful guitar licks, joined the Eagles in 1976 and is credited for bringing a harder rock sound to the band with the acclaimed Hotel California, The Long Run <\/em>and Eagles Live.\u00a0 <\/em>A singer-songwriter and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Walsh has <\/em>entertained for more than four decades, not only as a solo artist, but as part of admired bands like The James Gang and Barnstorm.<\/p>\n

As a self-proclaimed Analog Man<\/em>, also the album name and title track, Walsh refers playfully to the new digital age; one in which he has adapted to, but notes in the song, \u201cI am what I am \u2013 I\u2019m an Analog Man.\u201d Walsh developed the album over the last 10 years, drawing on personal experiences to breathe life into each track.\u00a0 \u201cI just really feel like it\u2019s all come together and finally I feel like a complete person and a complete musician,\u201d said Walsh.\u00a0 \u201cI think there is some confidence in there that I never had. That\u2019s what I was hiding.\u201d\u00a0 Walsh credits his wife of four years, Marjorie, for encouraging him to be the man and artist he is today and fondly dedicates this album to her.<\/p>\n

The 10-track album was produced by Jeff Lynne and Joe Walsh with Tommy Lee James co-writing some of the tracks.\u00a0 \u201cLucky That Way,\u201d one of Walsh\u2019s favorites off the album, speaks to the extraordinary life he\u2019s lived, even through the hurdles, and features Ringo Starr, his real life brother-in-law, on drums.\u00a0 The song ironically serves as a mature sequel to Walsh\u2019s famed \u201cLife\u2019s Been Good\u201d and for Walsh, life is just that.<\/p>\n
