Roadrunner Records<\/strong> is delighted to welcome Pennsylvania-based hard rockers Halestorm<\/strong> to the family and announce the release<\/strong> of their brand new album<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Formed by frontwoman Lzzy Hale<\/strong> and her brother, drummer Arejay Hale<\/strong>, Halestorm has been hailed an incendiary new force in modern hard rock.\u00a0 Debut self-titled album made a top 5<\/strong> debut on SoundScan\u2019s Hard Music chart upon its 2009 release, simultaneously bursting into the top 40<\/strong> on the Billboard 200.\u00a0\u00a0 The album subsequently sold more than 300,000 copies in the USA and half a million cumulative tracks.\u00a0 It earned extensive acclaim for its infectious hard rock anthems, sexy hooks, and rough-and-tumble grooves.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/strong>The new album<\/strong> will be titled The Strange Case Of\u2026<\/strong> and is heralded by the electrifying new single, \u2018Love Bites (So Do I)<\/strong>\u2019.\u00a0 The single \u2013 as well as three other highlights from The Strange Case Of\u2026<\/strong> \u2013 will be feature on Halestorm\u2019s forthcoming EP, Hello, It\u2019s Mz. Hyde<\/strong> which will be available digitally in Australia from February 3. <\/strong>The EP features the tracks \u2018Love Bites (So Do I)\u2019, \u2018Rock Show\u2019 \u2018Daughters Of Darkness\u2019 and \u2018Here\u2019s To Us\u2019.<\/p>\n

The complete album The Strange Case Of\u2026<\/strong> will then follow in a physical and digital format<\/strong> on April 13<\/strong>.     Working again with producer Howard Benson<\/strong>, The Strange Case Of\u2026 was recently named among Revolver\u2019s Most Anticipated Albums Of The Year. <\/strong>\u201cLed by one of our favorite rocker babes, singer-guitarist Lzzy Hale, (Halestorm) promise a more personal album for their follow-up,\u201d<\/em> the magazine noted.\u00a0 \u201cBut don\u2019t expect them to get all sappy on us.\u00a0 There should still be more than enough of the band\u2019s now signature raucous attitude and righteous riffs for any headbanger to get off.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

    True road warriors, Halestorm honed their chops via countless gigs with the likes of Shinedown<\/strong>, Avenged<\/strong> Sevenfold<\/strong>, and Disturbed<\/strong>.\u00a0 Last year also saw the band travelling the country on the blockbuster Avalanche Tour 2011<\/strong>, joining hard rock luminaries such as Stone Sour<\/strong>. Not one to rest on her laurels when the band snatched some time off the road though, you can hear backing vocals<\/strong> from Lzzy<\/strong> on the new Black Stone Cherry<\/strong> album Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea<\/strong> and Mike Portnoy<\/strong>\u2019s Adrenaline Mob<\/strong> album \u2018Omert\u00e1<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n
