\"\"<\/a>Sony Music Australia is excited to announce the debut album from pop-punk band\u00a0 Tonight Alive,\u00a0What Are You So Scared Of?,\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>which is set for release on October 14th<\/sup>\u00a0 2011.<\/p>\n

Tonight Alive recorded the album in LA earlier this year with respected producer Mark Trombino (Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World) at LA\u2019s infamous NRG Studios. The first single \u2018Starlight\u2019 is at radio now and has been added to the Nova network nationally. The accompanying video, filmed in one of the band member\u2019s garages, has received a lot of attention online and upon release #tonightalive and #starlight both became trending topics on twitter. The online world has played a pivotal role in the band\u2019s success with their independent video for\u00a0Wasting Away<\/em>\u00a0garnering over 275,000 view s on youtube.<\/p>\n

So, why the title\u00a0What Are You So Scared Of?\u00a0<\/em>\u201cIt\u2019s the only question I can ever ask myself where I\u2019ll always have an answer,\u201d explains frontwoman Jenna. \u201cAsking myself, \u2018what are you so scared of?\u2019 has always helped me pass through any personal fear or doubt. And it\u2019s summed up the last year for us as a band \u2013 we\u2019ve broken new boundaries\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat Are You So Scared Of?\u00a0<\/em>is our mission statement, if you like \u2013 we\u2019re moving forward, dissolving old barriers or blocks.\u201d<\/p>\n

The five piece band have built a creditable reputation within the industry having toured extensively with bands including; Sum 41, Forever The Sickest Kids and the Bamboozle festival alongside Lil\u2019 Wayne, Bruno Mars and Motley Crue. The band will hit the road again next week supporting Anberlin and then again with Simple Plan in September.<\/p>\n

Before signing with Sony Music Australia the band released two self-funded, stellar EPs (\u2018All Shapes & Disguises\u2019\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0\u2018Consider This\u2019)<\/em>\u00a0and have worked hard at building a solid Australian and International fanbase with songs from the EPs featuring in American cult reality series\u00a0The Hills<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Keeping Up With The Kardashians<\/em>.<\/p>\n
