\"\"<\/a>Tickets to ICEHOUSE’s Man of Colours’<\/em><\/strong> 40th\u00a0Anniversary have gone gangbusters with the Melbourne show now sold out and all other shows selling fast.<\/p>\n

Due to demand (we’ve heard you, Tassie!), a new show has been added at MyState Bank Arena<\/strong> in Hobart on Saturday, 31 July<\/strong> as well as second shows in Melbourne at Margaret Court Arena<\/strong> on Friday, 7 August<\/strong> and, with the Sydney show soon to sell out, TikTok Entertainment Centre<\/strong> on Saturday, 14 August<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tickets to the new Man of Colours<\/em><\/strong> tour shows will go on sale at midday today <\/strong>(Monday, 12 October<\/strong>). \u00a0An ICEHOUSE <\/strong>Fan pre-sale starts at 9.00am and runs until 11.30am today.<\/p>\n

Some special $99.90 tickets will also be available for these new shows. These tickets are spread throughout the best seats in every venue, giving fans the chance to score an incredible view at an unbeatable price.<\/p>\n

\nICEHOUSE <\/strong>was formed by Iva Davies<\/strong>, the band’s frontman and musical creative force, who led the band to amazing sales levels including 28 Platinum albums, eight Top 10 albums and over thirty Top 40 singles.<\/p>\n

Man of Colours<\/em><\/strong> was released on 21 September 1987 and was the band’s 5th studio album.\u00a0 The release went to #1 in Australia and New Zealand, spending the next 11 weeks at the top of the Australian chart<\/u>, selling over 1 million copies<\/u> to date and going on to win ICEHOUSE<\/strong> ARIA Awards for Album of the Year and Highest Selling Album. See below for Iva’s recollections around Man of Colours<\/em><\/strong>‘ songs, videos and tour.<\/p>\n

While many of the songs from the album have become live performance favourites, there are several songs which the band has never performed live and fans will have the first (and likely only) opportunity of hearing the band perform ALL OF THE SONGS FROM THE ALBUM IN CONCERT.<\/u><\/div>\n

Suze DeMarchi<\/strong> said, “I’m so excited to be joining ICEHOUSE for the ‘Man Of Colours 40th anniversary tour’. Iva’s music has been a big influence on us all and I’ve been a fan since the ‘Flowers’ days and played that cassette in my little green Toyota Corolla KE20 until it was chewed up and spat out!! I hope to see all of you out there for this very special album.\u00a0 Suze x<\/em>”<\/p>\n

Michael Paynter<\/strong> added, “When I joined ICEHOUSE in 2011, my life and career changed immediately. Little did I know that 15 years later, they would have become my dear family. It is so incredible to be back on the stage with Iva and the gang. I can’t wait to lend my voice to some new surprises and just to be part of performing these great classics again.
