Roadrunner Records<\/strong> is delighted to welcome multi-platinum<\/strong> rock band Shinedown<\/strong> to the family. In addition, Roadrunner<\/strong> and Shinedown<\/strong> are excited to announce the much anticipated release of their new album, <\/strong>titled Amaryllis<\/strong>. \u00a0Amaryllis<\/strong> will arrive in stores and at all digital retailers on March<\/strong> 23, 2012.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cBully<\/strong>\u201d is the first single to drop at radio on Monday 15th<\/sup> January 2012. The track is Shinedown\u2019s first new music since seeing all six<\/strong> singles from 2008\u2019s \u2018The Sound Of Madness\u2019 <\/strong>go to #1<\/strong> on the US rock radio chart.<\/p>\n

Shinedown frontman Brent Smith<\/strong> comments, \u201cI\u2019ve always seen Shinedown as its own entity \u2013 this living thing that\u2019s been growing and developing and evolving over the past 10 years.\u00a0 During the recording, the vision of what Shinedown is and where it\u2019s going became completely clear.\u00a0 \u2018Amaryllis\u2019 is the manifestation of that vision, the centerpiece of what Shinedown is.\u00a0 It reflects on everything we\u2019ve done and where we\u2019re heading.\u00a0 It\u2019s a message of empowerment, perseverance, and inspiration that I think speaks to fans that have been with us since the beginning as well as those who are just learning about who we are and what we\u2019re about.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait for the world to hear it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recorded at Cavallo\u2019s Lightning Sound studios<\/strong> outside of Los Angeles<\/strong> and a pair of Hollywood landmarks, Ocean Way Recording<\/strong> and Capitol Studios<\/strong>, Amaryllis sees Shinedown joining forces once more with multiple Grammy Award<\/strong>-winning producer Rob Cavallo<\/strong> (Kid Rock, Green Day), who previously collaborated with the band on \u2018The Sound Of Madness\u2019. That album proved Shinedown\u2019s mainstream breakthrough, debuting at #8<\/strong> on the Billboard 200<\/strong> before spending 120<\/strong> consecutive weeks<\/strong> on the chart.<\/p>\n

Shinedown supported The Sound Of Madness with a wide range of live TV appearances, including performances on ABC US Jimmy Kimmel Live!, NBC\u2019s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Today Show, CBS\u2019 The Early Show<\/em>, and the 2010 NHL Awards show.\u00a0 In 2009, the band received an American Music Award<\/strong> nomination for Best Alternative Rock Band.<\/p>\n
