As Pete Farnan notes, \u201cWe sounded like our name.\u201d It\u2019s an intoxicating mix of indie pop and stadium rock, fusing quirky song structures with exuberant choruses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"v1font-arial\">The result has been 13 Top 50 singles and five Top 50 albums. Boom Crash Opera\u2019s songs are ingrained in Australian culture \u2013 go to any sporting event and chances are you\u2019ll hear The Best Thing or Dancing In The Storm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"v1font-arial\">Four decades after the band began, the start of Onion Skin remains an irresistible rallying cry:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"v1font-arial\"><em>Keep it in! Cut it out! Kick it out!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"v1font-arial\">Boom Crash Opera \u2013 Dale Ryder, Pete Farnan, Peter \u201cMaz\u201d Maslen and John Favaro \u2013 put huge smiles on punters\u2019 faces across the country earlier this year when touring with the Models.
