One of Melbourne’s most powerful rock voices, Karly is captivating audiences globally with her dynamic sound and heartfelt performances.<\/p>\n

Her musical journey began at age five, inspired by her late grandfather,\u00a0Tony Jewell<\/strong>, an acclaimed country singer-songwriter known for his work with\u00a0Slim Dusty<\/strong>. Her versatility across genres has led her to form a hard-hitting rock band, playing iconic Melbourne venues like The Corner Hotel, Revolver, and The Boogie Man Bar.<\/p>\n

Internationally, Karly has performed at renowned venues such as\u00a0Whisky A Go Go<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Viper Room<\/strong>\u00a0in Los Angeles. Highlights of her career include a nomination for Up & Coming Rock Band at the\u00a0Vegas Rock Magazine Awards<\/strong>\u00a0and top-charting releases on\u00a0Triple J Unearthed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Karly recently returned from yet another successful tour of\u00a0Japan<\/strong>, playing at key events in Tokyo, Yokohama and Osaka!<\/p>\n

After teaming up with\u00a0Mark Dalbeth<\/strong>\u00a0at management company Rav Medic in 2018, Karly released her debut album “Phoenix<\/strong>\u201d in 2019 and the single “Dancing With The Devil<\/strong>” in 2021. With global radio features and widespread acclaim, her 2022 single “Trouble We Are<\/strong>” received significant love worldwide.<\/p>\n

In 2024 Karly signed\u00a0with XMusic and immediately set about releasing the singles,
\nSad Girl<\/a>,\u00a0In The Dark<\/a>,\u00a0Burn<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Other Side<\/a>, all of which feature on There’s A Jewel In Town.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of which, Karly states:\u00a0“This song proves to the world that you can be a small-town country kid and still write epic big rock songs. It’s a song about me always knowing I was too much for the small-town living. I had to get out, and music would lead me on a journey. I also knew this would be the Album title.<\/em><\/p>\n

My late grandfather would always tell me before every show, “Let ’em know there’s a Jewell in town, babe.” It’s a promise I keep, and we’re definitely letting them all know now, TJ.
