LOOKOUT<\/strong>\u00a0is a live music concert event that celebrates the best of alternative rock with music that has stood the test of time, along with some fresh new sounds on the scene.\u00a0 Taking place in some of Australia’s most epic outdoor locations, the atmosphere will be electric. Get amongst the waves of roaring live music in this truly unique concert experience.\u00a0\u00a0LOOKOUT<\/strong>\u00a0Festival<\/strong>\u00a0will feature some of the most iconic names in alternative rock and rising stars making noise in the industry. This event is for those who love soaking in epic live music and rocking with their mates on a huge day out, for those who not only want to hear music but to really feel it.\u00a0 LOOKOUT is where international and Australian rock unites in a unique setting to form an unforgettable and outstanding live music experience.<\/p>\n

+LIVE+<\/strong>\u00a0have sold over 23 million albums worldwide and earned two number one albums:\u00a0Throwing Copper<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Secret Samadhi<\/em>. Their catalogue is filled with such gems as \u201cLightning Crashes,\u201d \u201cI Alone,\u201d \u201cAll Over You\u201d and \u201cLakini\u2019s Juice,\u201d which live on today as classics on rock radio.<\/p>\n

Throwing Copper<\/em>\u00a0will be celebrating its\u00a030th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary in 2024. \u00a0The seminal album produced the band\u2019s biggest single, \u201cLightning Crashes,\u201d which was No. 1 at Modern Rock radio for ten consecutive weeks.\u00a0Rolling Stone honored the album with placement on their list, \u201c1994: The 40 Best Records from Mainstream Alternative’s Greatest Year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Secret Samadhi<\/em>\u00a0immediately shot to No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and eventually went double platinum. The release of the platinum-selling The Distance to Here turned\u00a0+LIVE+<\/strong>\u00a0into an international powerhouse and moved the band from arenas into stadiums. \u00a0The band released an acclaimed five-song EP in 2018,\u00a0LOCAL 717<\/strong>, their first new music in over a decade.<\/p>\n

The California band\u2019s sales have eclipse 23 million albums worldwide to date with multi-platinum and platinum certifications from around the globe. Consistently topping the Billboard\u00a0<\/em>charts, the band has had five consecutive Top 5 debuts and\u00a0they maintain their status as a streaming phenomenon, averaging 4.1 million monthly listeners on Spotify and clocking over 1 billion-plus streams across all platforms.<\/p>\n

Formed in Perth,\u00a0Birds of Tokyo<\/strong>\u00a0have grown from independent roots to become one of Australia\u2019s most popular contemporary rock bands.\u00a0The band has released six studio albums including Human Design which topped the ARIA charts. Classic songs like \u201cGood Lord\u201d, \u201cTwo Of Us\u201d, \u201cPlans\u201d, \u201cLanterns\u201d, \u201cBrace\u201d and \u201cI\u2019d Go With You Anywhere\u201d have all been top 10 airplay hits and more than seventy\u00a0Birds of Tokyo<\/strong>\u00a0tracks have featured on Triple J, making them one of the National Youth Broadcaster\u2019s three most played artists of this millennium.<\/p>\n

They have played major festivals like Splendour In The Grass & Falls and appeared as special guests for Muse, Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel and Bon Jovi.\u00a0 They have also toured across Australia with some of the country\u2019s most prestigious Symphony Orchestras.\u00a0Birds of Tokyo<\/strong>\u00a0have won \u201cRock Work Of The Year\u201d on a record setting five separate occasions at the APRA Awards.<\/p>\n

Late 2021 the band released single \u201cSuperglue (feat. Stand Atlantic)\u201d alongside their headlining appearance at the AFL Grand Final in Perth. Then in March this year, new single \u201cSmith Street\u201d was released which perhaps surprisingly for a song written during the Victorian and NSW lockdowns, celebrates the feeling of running free.<\/p>\n

Birds of Tokyo<\/strong>\u00a0are currently touring playing a slew of big beachside shows under the SummerSalt banner and at the end of 2022 they took their show back to arena stages as special guests of Keith Urban on his Australian tour.<\/p>\n

Since forming in 1997, Eskimo Joe<\/strong>\u00a0has racked up a long list of impressive accomplishments. With 6 studio albums under their belts and sales in excess of 750,000, in Australia alone,\u00a0the band has seen 3 of those albums debut at number 1<\/strong>\u00a0on the ARIA charts, with juggernaut \u2018Black Fingernails, Red Wine\u2019 shining for a monster 62 weeks in the ARIA Chart Top 50 and \u201cForeign Land\u201d, from their fourth album \u2018Inshalla\u2019, bringing home\u00a02 APRA Awards<\/strong>, for Most Played Rock Song on Australian radio and Best Rock Song of 2010.<\/p>\n

Eskimo Joe have enjoyed 35 ARIA nominations in their career thus far<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 a number only surpassed by Silverchair, Powderfinger, Kylie Minogue and John Farnham. They have brought home\u00a03 International Song-writing Awards<\/strong>,\u00a011 WAMi Awards\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a08 ARIAs<\/strong>\u00a0and 11 of their compositions have featured in Triple J\u2019s Hottest 100 countdown, with \u2018Black Fingernails, Red Wine\u2019 landing 2nd place.<\/p>\n

The stage, however, is where\u00a0Eskimo Joe<\/strong>\u00a0shine and\u00a0the band have performed at many significant events including<\/strong>: Sound Relief, Live Earth, Make Poverty History, the ARIA Awards, the APRA Awards, Big Day Out, Homebake, Laneway Festival, Falls Festival, Southbound, Splendour In The Grass, Triple J\u2019s One Night Stand, The Australian Open, AFL and Sundance Film Festival in Utah, USA, on the same stage as Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Along with a significant number of tours within Australia, the band have had their music released to great acclaim from fans and critics alike, in the United States, Canada, Europe and Korea.<\/p>\n

Eskimo Joe<\/strong>\u00a0released \u2018Say Something\u2019, their first new single since 2013, globally to critical acclaim on June 26th2020. Say Something reached number 1 most played on Triple M and 11th most played song on Australian Airplay charts and won 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0place in the rock category of the International Song writing competition.\u00a0 A further brand-new single \u201999 Ways\u2019 was released on February 12th<\/sup>, 2021, along with a national tour in 2022.<\/p>\n

Since bursting out of Adelaide in the mid-\u201990s,\u00a0The Superjesus<\/strong>\u00a0have had nine Top 50 hits, two Top 10 albums, placed five songs in Triple J\u2019s Hottest 100, won three ARIA Awards from eight nominations, and been inducted into the South Australian Music Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

When\u00a0The Superjesus<\/strong>\u00a0released the Love and Violence EP in 2016, Sarah explained the title: \u201cFire and passion, love and war, heaven and hell \u2026 these words always seem to go hand in hand, you can\u2019t have one without the other. Deep emotional relationships run the risk of deep emotional pain. Human nature is funny like that. Love and Violence is about looking at the oddity of emotional extremities and celebrating the immeasurable depth of human connection.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yep, it\u2019s been a long and winding road for\u00a0The Superjesus<\/strong>, but they have forged an enduring relationship with Australian rock fans.<\/p>\n

When the band\u2019s landmark debut album, Sumo, was released in 1998, the original disc was stamped with the mantra:\u00a0Train hard, eat plenty.<\/em>\u00a0More than two decades on,\u00a0The Superjesus<\/strong>\u00a0remain hungry.<\/p>\n
