On the heels of a whirlwind debut that included a GRAMMY\u00ae Award nomination for his first-ever single, #1 debuts on multiple charts, television performances, and sold out shows over a two-year span,\u00a0Mammoth WVH\u00a0<\/strong>is back with its second album\u00a0Mammoth II<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/em>The 10-track record will be available worldwide on August 4\u00a0via the band\u2019s new label, BMG.<\/p>\n

Recorded at the legendary 5150 studio, the album was produced by friend and collaborator Michael \u201cElvis\u201d Baskette,\u00a0Mammoth II\u00a0<\/em>is available for pre-order in multiple configurations at:

Continuing the tradition of writing all of the songs and performing all of the instrumentation and vocals himself,\u00a0<\/strong>Wolfgang Van Halen set out to challenge himself to expand his sound beyond what people had already come to know him for. From the rocking opener \u201cRight?\u201d to Beatles-esque fade on closer \u201cBetter Than You\u201d\u00a0Mammoth II\u00a0<\/em>showcases the growth of Wolfgang as a songwriter, musician and especially vocalist.\u00a0\u00a0Songs like \u201cLike A Pastime,\u201d \u201cTake A Bow\u201d and \u201cWaiting\u201d are all sonically different from each other but unique to what mastermind Wolfgang Van Halen and\u00a0Mammoth WVH<\/strong>\u00a0is. The debut single from\u00a0Mammoth II\u00a0<\/em>is the upbeat rocker \u201cAnother Celebration At The End Of The World.\u201d The single is currently impacting radio and the music video for \u201cAnother Celebration At The End Of The World\u201d is an 8:25 introduction to the\u00a0Mammoth WVH\u00a0<\/strong>live band.<\/p>\n

Picking up where the #1 single \u201cDon\u2019t Back Down<\/a>\u201d music video left off, the new video showcases a frustrated Wolfgang firing the other Wolfgang\u2019s from that video and replacing them with his now notorious live band featuring Frank Sidoris (guitars), Jon Jourdan (guitars), Ronnie Ficarro (Bass) and Garrett Whitlock (drums).<\/p>\n
