City and Colour<\/strong>\u00a0will also appear at\u00a0SummerSalt<\/strong>\u00a0across Australia\u00a0through January\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0February.\u00a0<\/strong>The festival will visit eight cities nationally and see\u00a0City and Colour<\/strong>\u00a0take the stage alongside the likes of\u00a0Ben Harper, Angus & Julia Stone, The Rubens\u00a0<\/strong>and more.<\/p>\n

No stranger to Australian shores,\u00a0City and Colour<\/strong>\u00a0last performed live down under in 2019 at Brisbane Festival, an incredibly special one-off set that was delivered to critical praise,\u00a0Scenestr<\/u><\/a>\u00a0noting, “the wonder of Dallas Green’s voice (is) a spectacle to witness in real life as he effortlessly bounced from note to note within each melody”.<\/em><\/p>\n

After regularly touring Australia for ten years, 2023’s visit will be\u00a0City and Colour’s<\/strong>\u00a0first full tour in seven years. On his last nationwide tour (2016), Green stunned audiences with his trademark vocals, raw honesty and dialogue, talents that have endeared him to music lovers around the world since\u00a0City and Colour’s<\/strong>\u00a0inception in 2005. 2023 will mark Green’s eighteenth tour of Australia, having previously visited ten times as\u00a0City and Colour<\/strong>, and another seven times with the band Alexisonfire.<\/p>\n

Over the course of six studio albums,\u00a0City and Colour<\/strong>\u00a0has compiled a canon ripe with songs born of adoration and devotion, amassing a legion of dedicated fans worldwide and garnering him three\u00a0JUNOs<\/strong>, including two?Songwriter of the Year<\/strong>?awards, plus multiple triple, double, platinum and gold certifications in his native Canada.<\/p>\n

A Pill For Loneliness<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(2019), his last studio album, debuted at the top of Billboard’s Canadian Albums Chart, his fourth consecutive chart-topper.<\/p>\n

Beyond his legacy as co-founder of hardcore luminaries\u00a0Alexisonfire<\/strong>\u00a0where Green received platinum certification for four of the band’s five full-length records, he also teamed up with global icon\u00a0Alecia Moore (P!nk)<\/strong>\u00a0to record as fold duo\u00a0You+Me<\/strong>. Not only did their debut,\u00a0rose ave<\/strong><\/em>, attain platinum in Canada, it also topped the Canadian chart on release, peaking at No.2 on the Australian ARIA Chart and soaring to No.4 on the US Billboard Top 200 Chart.<\/p>\n
