While gearing up for its release,\u00a0blackbear\u00a0<\/b>teamed up with multi-platinum selling superstar\u00a0Machine Gun Kelly<\/b>\u00a0for the lead single\u00a0‘gfy’<\/i><\/b>\u00a0which is accompanied by the star-studded video featuring\u00a0Kelly<\/b>,\u00a0Aisha Mian<\/b>,\u00a0Benny Blanco<\/b>,\u00a0Mike Posner<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0August Maturo<\/b>.<\/p>\n

‘the idea’<\/i><\/b>\u00a0serves as a preview of\u00a0blackbear<\/b>‘s latest metamorphosis. It was in the studio after recording\u00a0‘the idea’<\/i><\/b>\u00a0in 2021 with\u00a0Travis Barker<\/b>, that he was inspired to create an entire album that gave him that same feeling of nostalgia of leaning into his pop-punk and emo beginnings.<\/p>\n
