Continuing a dance with the avant-garde and an exploration of a myriad of sonic and creative influences, Perth\u2019s <\/span>Moana <\/b>return in 2021 with new EP, <\/span>Feet In The Ground, Eyes To The Sky<\/i><\/b>. The record: five tracks of expansive and immersive music constructed and delivered by some of the West Coast\u2019s most seasoned, intriguing musicians in this realm.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As Moana\u2019s new project following on from 2019\u2019s breakthrough debut album <\/span>In The Allure<\/i><\/b>, this collection of music serves as a reminder of the group\u2019s grip on engaging music, as well as being a perfect introduction point for newcomers to the fold.<\/span><\/p>\n

Led by songwriter and vocalist <\/span>Moana Mayatrix<\/b>, the music the listener hears across the EP is wrapped up in textures and layers. Recorded with <\/span>Andy Lawson (Debaser Studios)<\/b> in Perth during the same time period as the <\/span>In The Allure<\/span><\/i> sessions, the environment <\/span>Feet In The Ground\u2026<\/span><\/i> was made within was one that had its own magic permeating throughout.<\/span><\/p>\n
