Joining\u00a0STATIC-X<\/b>\u00a0will be the prince of horror punk\u00a0WEDNESDAY 13<\/b>\u00a0and industrial-esque, hard rocking veterans\u00a0DOPE<\/b>\u00a0thanks to Metropolis Touring.<\/p>\n

Bassist\u00a0Tony Campos<\/strong>, drummer\u00a0Ken Jay<\/strong>\u00a0and guitarist\u00a0Koichi Fukuda<\/strong>\u00a0will also use the\u00a0Wisconsin Death Trip Tour<\/strong>\u00a0as a way to honor late frontman\u00a0Wayne Static<\/strong>. Campos says, “Our intention is to pay ultimate respect to Wayne and to celebrate the music that has been in all of our hearts for more than 20 years. It’s all about channelling the vibe from 1999 to the best of our ability and playing those classic\u00a0STATIC-X<\/strong>\u00a0songs live and loud with the fans”<\/p>\n

A grimly glamorous ghoul who first slithered from the cobwebbed shadows of Charlotte, North Carolina, in the early 90s,\u00a0WEDNESDAY 13<\/strong>\u00a0has firmly established himself as the world’s premier purveyor of balls-out horror punk insanity.<\/p>\n

An uncompromising New York City-based outfit that draws from both heavy metal and industrial music,\u00a0DOPE<\/strong><\/a>‘s<\/strong>\u00a0confrontational emissions evoke\u00a0Ministry<\/a>,\u00a0Skinny Puppy<\/a>, and\u00a0White Zombie<\/a>. Emerging in 1999 the group continues to beat the post-industrial, while managing to weave in elements of speed, alternative, rap, and nu-metal.<\/p>\n
