To celebrate the release of \u2013Anon.<\/em><\/strong> Hands Like Houses<\/strong> will launch the LP with a six-date national tour next year, bringing their electric energy and commanding, masterful performance-style around the country. Following three back-to-back sold out Australian tours, the band returns for their largest headline shows to date, kicking off in their hometown Canberra, before making their way to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and finishing in Perth. The tour will come off the back of an extensive international run of 40 dates across the UK, Europe and US to close out 2018.<\/p>\n

Joining the tour as main support on all dates are Melbourne’s Ocean Grove<\/strong>, fresh from an extended writing stint, \u00a0to\u00a0<\/strong>play their first Australian shows since\u00a0supporting Limp Bizkit<\/strong> back in March. Their critically acclaimed, genre-bending debut The Rhapsody Tapes <\/em>was released in 2017 and saw the quintet sell-out headline shows across their home country, while giving audiences abroad their first foray into the oddworld.<\/p>\n

On their fourth album, Hands Like Houses\u2019<\/strong> sound is further built upon catchy hooks and exhilarating guitar work injected with a modern rock\u2019n\u2019roll sensibility \u2013 songs like \u2018Tilt\u2019<\/strong> and \u2018Bad Dream\u2019<\/strong> easy to imagine roaring through a stadium.\u00a0 Their sonic progression on \u2013Anon.<\/em><\/strong> has received widespread praise, including Kerrang!<\/strong> calling the album \u201ca bold step into the unknown\u2026 their play for the big leagues\u201d<\/em> and AltMedia <\/strong>declaring \u201cthe evolution of Hands Like Houses is certainly something special\u201d <\/em>in a 4.5 star review. The bolstering track \u2018Monster\u2019 <\/strong>was picked up as the WWE Super Show-Down official theme song, broadcast to over 70,000 wrestling fans at the MCG, and is also currently running in a major sync on FOX8 for the network\u2019s DC universe.<\/p>\n

Hailing from Canberra, five-piece Hands Like Houses<\/strong> \u2013 Trenton Woodley (vocals), Alexander Pearson (guitar), Joel Tyrrell (bass), Matt Cooper (guitar), Matthew Parkitny (drums) \u2013 have spent the past decade thrilling audiences with their dynamic performances, sharing arena stages with heavyweights such as Bring Me The Horizon<\/strong> and A Day To Remember<\/strong> at home, to performing internationally alongside legendary acts including Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/strong>, Alice Cooper<\/strong> and Disturbed<\/strong> on Download Festival<\/strong> and Rock on the Range<\/strong> to name a few.
