\"\"<\/a>80s pop\/rock sensation Uncanny X-Men original lineup reunite, on their\u00a0‘Cos Life Still Hurts’<\/strong>, kicking off in Queensland in September, 2018.\u00a0\u00a0They can’t wait to get back on the road and perform for their loyal fans and play their chart-topping album\u00a0‘Cos Life Hurts’<\/strong>\u00a0Cover to Cover!\u00a0\u00a0The idea was spawned from a handful of performances earlier this year, when they realised the magic was still there and, it was like they had never stopped performing together.<\/p>\n

“We’re all fit and well and actually like each other so, this tour is going to be us at our best. Can’t wait to get back on the road with my ‘old mates’ and, we are all super excited to perform for our loyal fans again.” \u2013 John Kirk<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Back in the 80’s there wasn’t a pop\/rock radio station that didn’t play there smash charting hits ’50 Years’, ‘Everybody Wants To Work’ and ‘Party’.\u00a0\u00a0No. 3 ARIA charting album\u00a0‘Cos Life Hurts’<\/strong>\u00a0reached double platinum and ‘What You Give Is What You Get’ went Gold, cementing them on the pub rock scene.<\/p>\n

Colourful and totally entertaining lead singer Brian Mannix is known for his stage antics and uncontrollable energy, reflecting their name derived from the Marvel comic book.\u00a0\u00a0Mannix has\u00a0pursued a solo career including releasing two solo albums, performing in Absolutely 80’s Presents, theatre plays, movies (including Chopper with Eric Bana), TV, radio, written his 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0autobiography,\u00a0produced and staged ‘Countdown the Musical’.\u00a0John Kirk (Bass) performs with\u00a0several live bands on the Gold Coast, Chuck Hargreaves (Guitar)\u00a0toured with Daryl Braithwaite in the 90s and continues to play with bands in Perth, Craig Waugh (drums) went on to Horsehead and Ron Thiessen (Guitar) still performs with ‘Lowdown Dirty Shame’.<\/p>\n

After 30 years, the band released a new single called ‘Take it from Me’ on April 20, 2018, which is available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.<\/p>\n

In 2018, they are older and wiser and the energy that is the X Men is still there!<\/strong><\/p>\n
