The famed singer introduces\u00a0Traces\u00a0<\/em>with lead track \u201cNo Erasin\u2019\u201d and reassuringly greets fans with the opening line \u201cI know it\u2019s been a long time comin\u2019.\u201d The track is an emotional homecoming, a familiar welcome\u00a0from the iconic voice and writer of Journey’s timeless, global hits including \u201cDon\u2019t Stop Believin\u2019,\u201d \u201cFaithfully,\u201d and \u201cOpen Arms,\u201d as well as the significant solo success of \u201cOh Sherrie\u201d and \u201cFoolish Heart.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Perry says, \u201cPutting 30 years into 10 songs has certainly been an emotional experience for me. I started writing and recording these songs with the creative freedom that I was the only one who would ever hear them. Along the way, I rediscovered my love for music.
