Smash Mouth<\/strong>\u00a0were regular chart toppers of the 90\u2019s alternative music scene, selling in excess of 10 million albums worldwide.\u00a0 They are no strangers to Australian audiences with songs like the\u00a0All Star<\/em>,\u00a0Can\u2019t Get Enough of You Baby<\/em>,\u00a0Walkin\u2019 On The Sun<\/em>\u00a0and celebrated Monkees classic\u00a0I\u2019m A Believer<\/em>, all of which have become radio staples and included on party playlists everywhere!<\/p>\n

Last year the\u00a0multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated band celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut, smash-hit album\u00a0\u201cFush Yu Mang\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>Back in 1997, the single\u00a0Walkin\u2019 On The Sun\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>was an immediate international sensation and quickly shot to No. 1 on the US Billboard charts, and eventually boosting the album sales to over 3 million copies in the US alone.\u00a0 In the two decades since,\u00a0Smash Mouth<\/strong>\u00a0have not slowed down.\u00a0 In fact, they are\u00a0still as vibrant as ever with their\u00a0groovy beats, memorable melodies and fun lyrics.<\/p>\n

Their 1999 release \u2018Astrolounge\u2019 was a brilliant follow-up album boasting three top- ten hits\u00a0All-Star, Then The Morning Comes,<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Can\u2019t Get Enough Of You Baby<\/em>\u00a0and sales for that album nearly doubled those for their debut.\u00a0\u00a0Smash Mouth\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0third, eponymous release featured the smash hit\u00a0I\u2019m a Believer<\/em>\u00a0providing the musical heart of the soundtrack for\u00a0Shrek.<\/em><\/p>\n

Just over two years ago,\u00a0Playlist: The Very Best of Smash Mouth<\/em>\u00a0was released and is a composite of 12\u00a0Smash Mouth<\/strong>\u00a0favourites chosen from live recordings of two late 2014 concerts.\u00a0 Says lead singer\u00a0Steve Harwell<\/strong>\u201cwe\u2019re a totally different band live.\u00a0 People are constantly telling me how much more powerful our songs are live compared to the studio versions.\u00a0 We are really looking forward to returning to Australia to perform \u2013 our fans got right into the spirit of our live shows.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
