\"\"<\/a>Cymru\u2019s rock ambassadors,\u00a0STEREOPHONICS<\/strong>, will make a welcome return to Australia for a run of much anticipated shows this April, marking their first Australian tour since 2013.<\/p>\n

Stereophonics are heading out in support of their latest album,\u00a0Scream Above The Sounds<\/em>, launching with a show at the Sydney Opera House on April 26, then onto Brisbane\u2019s Tivoli on April 28, Melbourne\u2019s Forum on April 30 and HQ in Adelaide on May 3 before wrapping up the tour in the west with one night at Fremantle Arts Centre on May 5.<\/p>\n

Renowned for delivering consistently superb, dynamic live shows led by the raw vocals of Kelly Jones, during their current European tour Stereophonics have been treating fans to scorching sets showcasing\u00a0Scream Above The Sounds<\/em>\u00a0tracks live for the first time, interspersed with timeless favourites such as: \u2018Maybe Tomorrow\u2019, \u2018Superman\u2019, \u2018The Bartender and the Thief\u2019, \u2018Mr Writer\u2019, \u2018Local Boy In The Photograph\u2019, \u2018Dakota\u2019 and \u2018Have A Nice Day\u2019.<\/p>\n

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 11am\u00a0this Wednesday, March 7.<\/p>\n

Stereophonics first stepped into the spotlight with the release of their debut album,\u00a0Word Gets Around<\/em>, in 1997.<\/p>\n

The band soon followed that up with their first UK #1 album,\u00a0Performance and Cocktails,\u00a0<\/em>in 1999 and subsequent #1 albums\u00a0Just Enough Education To Perform<\/em>\u00a0(2001),\u00a0You Gotta Go There To Come Back<\/em>\u00a0(2003),\u00a0Language. Sex. Violence. Other?<\/em>\u00a0(2005),\u00a0Pull The Pin<\/em>\u00a0(2007) and\u00a0Keep The Village Alive (2015).\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Stereophonics founding members, frontman Kelly Jones and bassist Richard Jones, along with guitarist Adam Zindani and drummer Jamie Morrison, will be joined on tour by long-term associate, keyboardist Tony Kirkham.<\/p>\n
