\"\"<\/a>Brisbane\u2019s 4ZZZ have described\u00a0Dirty Hearts\u00a0sound as \u201cthe music that once ruled this country\u201d. The three piece band from Brisbane who are putting their own slant on classic Australian rock \u2018n\u2019 roll, are about to drop their new track \u201cSand-Lea\u201d, highlighting their effortless introduction to the rock that will follow their forthcoming debut album.<\/p>\n

Following on from their 2015 self-titled EP, Dirty Hearts are planning their release of debut album\u00a0General Bitterness and Inner City Moonshine\u00a0in May this year through\u00a0Near Enough Records.\u00a0After manifesting a deep sense of Melancholy throughout their upcoming track, undoubtedly the album will be rolling out an offering with a fistfuls of classic tunes.<\/p>\n

The album was recorded at\u00a0By the Living Grace Studio\u00a0in Brisbane\u2019s east, it\u00a0features a mix of soaring vocals,\u00a0raucous guitar and\u00a0mature songwriting that goes from garage rock to sing-a-long anthems\u00a0then back again. Blending alternative \u201890s Australian and \u201970s British rock, Dirty Hearts have carved out their own sound that demands to be listened to \u2013 loudly. It\u2019s no surprise\u00a0that\u00a0the trio have supported some of the country\u2019s most revered bands such as\u00a0You Am I,\u00a0DZ Deathrays,\u00a0Peep Tempel\u00a0and\u00a0Velociraptor.<\/p>\n

\u201cSand-Lea\u201d demonstrates an unmissable tribute to the melodic minutiae,\u00a0A gentle introduction to the rock that will follow on the record. Playing live shows with an energy and soul that leaves other bands in their wake, the band aren\u2019t so much pumping on your stereo as much as they are blowing your speakers up.
