<\/a>\"\"<\/a>Whitesnake<\/a><\/b>\u00a0had already released a string of Top 10 albums in the UK, Europe & Japan before the band\u00a0conquered the entire world with its\u00a01987<\/i>\u00a0record<\/b>, which was\u00a0certified multi-platinum and featured the smash single\u00a0Here I Go Again<\/i><\/b>. The\u00a0classic album turns 30 this year and Parlophone is celebrating with four new versions<\/b>, including an expansive boxed set.<\/p>\n

WHITESNAKE\u00a01987<\/i>: SUPER DELUXE EDITION<\/b>\u00a0will be available on October 6 and is available for\u00a0pre-order now<\/a><\/b>. The\u00a04-CD\/DVD collection\u00a0<\/b>includes the original album with newly remastered sound, unreleased live and studio recordings, classic music videos, concert footage, a 30 minute documentary, featuring a new interview with\u00a0David Coverdale<\/b>, Whitesnake\u2019s founder and lead singer. Themusic comes in a 60-page hardbound book that\u2019s filled with rare and unseen photos from the era<\/b>, an extended essay based on new interviews with Coverdale, plus a booklet of the album\u2019s lyrics, handwritten by Coverdale. The audio will also be\u00a0available via digital download and streaming services<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Three other versions of WHITESNAKE\u00a01987<\/i>\u00a0will also be available the same day. A\u00a0Deluxe Edition will be available in both 2-CD and 2-LP versions<\/b>, each including the newly remastered album expanded with a selection of unreleased bonus recordings. A\u00a0single-disc version of the newly remastered album<\/b>\u00a0will also be available.<\/p>\n

This also\u00a0marks the first release under a newly signed catalogue deal with Whitesnake and Rhino Entertainment<\/b>, the catalogue division of Warner Music Group. This new deal includes both the North American and Japanese rights, marking the first time a substantial amount of the Whitesnake catalogue will reside under Warner Music Group worldwide.<\/p>\n

WHITESNAKE\u00a01987<\/i>: SUPER DELUXE EDITION comes with an entire disc of unreleased live performances\u00a0<\/b>featuring Adrian Vandenberg, Vivian Campbell & Tommy Aldridge recorded during the band\u2019s 1987-88 tour. The music includes live versions of several tracks from\u00a01987<\/i>, plus Whitesnake classics\u00a0Slide It In<\/i><\/b>,\u00a0Love Ain\u2019t No Stranger<\/i><\/b>, and\u00a0Slow An\u2019 Easy<\/i><\/b>.<\/p>\n

An additional disc spotlights the creative process behind WHITESNAKE\u00a01987<\/i>\u00a0with a\u00a0selection of 11 unreleased demo and rehearsal recordings, including early versions of nearly every song on the album<\/b>\u00a0called\u00a087 Evolutions<\/i>. The final disc introduces newly remixed versions the album\u2019s four singles, and includes rare radio mixes, as well as songs from\u00a087 Versions<\/i>, an EP released exclusively in Japan.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0DVD from WHITESNAKE\u00a01987<\/i>: SUPER DELUXE EDITION includes music videos for the four singles<\/b>, all of which have been carefully restored and remixed in 5.1 Surround Sound for the first time ever.
