Tim McIlrath, Zach Blair, Joe Principe and Brandon Barnes will make their return following a hugely successful run of sold-out shows in December 2015 and an unforgettable stadium tour as Foo Fighters’ special guests. In Australia alone, the band have achieved more than 200,000 album sales, thanks to hits such as\u00a0‘I Don’t Want To Be Here Anymore’\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0‘Help Is on the Way’<\/a>\u00a0and albums\u00a0The Sufferer and the Witness<\/em>\u00a0(2006),\u00a0Appeal To Reason<\/em>\u00a0(2008),\u00a0Endgame<\/em>(2011), and\u00a0The Black Market<\/em>\u00a0(2014).<\/p>\n

Recorded in Nashville with Grammy-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains, Deftones),\u00a0Wolves<\/em>smashed into the charts upon its release in June:\u00a0hitting #5 in Australia’s ARIA Albums Chart; #9 in the US Billboard 200 (and a trio of #1 debuts in the ‘Hard Rock Albums’, ‘Rock Albums’ and ‘Top Alternative Albums’ charts), and #20 in New Zealand.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Featuring singles\u00a0‘The Violence’<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0‘House On Fire’<\/a>, the influence of the US presidential election can be heard on\u00a0Wolves<\/em>.\u00a0“In many ways, a Rise Against show is a safe space for our fans,”\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>says McIlrath.\u00a0“But I realised … I want to create dangerous spaces where misogyny can’t exist, where xenophobia can’t exist. SPECIAL GUESTS FOR ALL SHOWS: SWMRS<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

Joining Rise Against in AU\/NZ will be special guests\u00a0SWMRS<\/strong>, who released album\u00a0Drive North<\/em>\u00a0in 2016 (via label Fueled By Ramen). The Oakland, CA rock outfit have been pals since childhood, and after tours of the US and Europe in 2017 will head down under on their very first visit to our shores.\u00a0Drive North<\/em>\u00a0was produced by FIDLAR vocalist Zac Carper.
