\"HLH\"<\/a>Canberra\u2019s most famous alt\u00a0rock exports<\/a><\/strong> Hands Like Houses<\/strong>\u00a0have kept the momentum rolling and\u00a0dropped by the triple j<\/strong> studios last week\u00a0as part of the coveted Like A Version segment.<\/p>\n

The past year has easily been one of the most successful on record for Hands Like Houses. In February they released their critically acclaimed brilliant third album Dissonants<\/strong>, <\/em>which impressively debuted at #7 on the ARIA chart and both\u00a0singles from the album \u201cNew Romantics” and “Colourblind\u201d were swiftly added to triple j rotation. The band have also spent their time impressing epic crowds at The Big Ass Tour<\/strong>, UNIFY 2016<\/strong> and, most recently, The Equinox Tour<\/strong> in Australia. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Hands Like Houses<\/strong> recently sold out shows on their biggest UK and US headline runs ever, as well as played to tens of thousands of people on the Vans Warped Tour<\/strong>, Rock on the Range<\/strong>,Carolina Rebellion<\/strong>, Northern Invasion <\/strong>and Download Festival<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Today the band performed an acoustic version of Dissonants<\/em>\u2019 first single \u201cNew Romantics\u201d, and their own stripped back, gorgeous take of the #1 smash \u201cDon\u2019t Speak\u201d by \u201890s rock icons No Doubt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
