\"Strums\"<\/a>Brisbane punk rockers, The Strums announce national tour and new single, hard hitter Bare Hands<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Off the back of touring with Sydney stalwarts The Snowdroppers and Adelaide purveyors of punk poetry The Hard Aches, The Strums<\/strong> are hitting the road to share the love with mates.<\/p>\n

With a recent line-up change, bringing bassist, long time best mate and avid supporter Helen Stringer into the fold, The Strums <\/strong>are forging a new direction, getting back to their\u00a0punk rock roots that kindled their love of music.\u00a0 Bare hands<\/em> <\/strong>sees The Strums<\/strong> delve into new territory, simultaneously unrestrained and matured. Bare Hands<\/strong> is a lament for failing relationships, and a rally cry for letting go. In this latest offering front man Jai Sparks gets up close and personal, showing a new nuance to his song writing.<\/p>\n

The single sees them working with Alex Markwell (The Delta Riggs) taking care of producing and mixing and legendary engineer Brian Lucey (The Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys) looking after the mastering.<\/p>\n

The Strums<\/strong> are stoked to be back on the road in support of their latest single bringing their punk rock party vibes to a town near you! New single Bare Hands<\/strong> released Friday 15th<\/sup> April and available for pre-order now through iTunes.<\/p>\n
