Today, Maroon 5 and Live Nation are thrilled to announce the addition of Australian dates to the world tour, playing Melbourne\u2019s Rod Laver Arena on September 26 and Sydney\u2019s Allphones Arena on September 29.<\/p>\n

Tickets for both shows will go on sale at 2pm on Monday February 23.<\/p>\n

Capturing their first of three Grammy Awards as \u201cBest New Artist\u201d of 2005 and going on to sell more than 23 million albums and 109 million singles worldwide, Maroon 5\u2019s releases have gone Gold and Platinum in more than 35 countries.<\/p>\n

In Australia, the band has sold nearly one million albums and more than 2.3 million singles, seven of those singles hitting the ARIA Top 10 including massive #1s \u2018Payphone\u2019, \u2018One More Night\u2019 (both five-times Platinum) and \u2018Moves Like Jagger\u2019 (eleven-times Platinum).<\/p>\n

The band won over fans and critics alike with the hybrid rock\/R&B sound they introduced on their ARIA #1, five-times Platinum debut album,\u00a0Songs About Jane<\/em>\u00a0and their platinum album,It Won’t Be Soon Before Long<\/em>, which included hits \u2018Makes Me Wonder\u2019 and \u2018If I Never See your Face Again\u2019.<\/p>\n

In 2010, the band released their third studio album,\u00a0Hands All Over<\/em>, which featured the group’s anthemic chart-topping smash single \u2018Moves Like Jagger\u2019. The song has since gone on to become one of the best-selling singles of all time in the US.<\/p>\n

Maroon 5\u2019s fourth album,\u00a0Overexposed,<\/em>\u00a0hit the ARIA Top 5 and reinforced the group\u2019s status as a US powerhouse in popular music with all of its singles rising to the top of the US charts and setting an all time record for the most #1s (six in total) by a group in the US Top 40 chart\u2019s 20-year history. In conjunction with the album, Maroon 5 wrapped one of the highest grossing tours of 2013 with more than 50 million dollars in ticket sales.<\/p>\n

Their latest album,\u00a0V<\/em>, debuted at #4 on the ARIA Chart and #1 in the US, featuring hits \u2018Maps\u2019, US #1 \u2018Animals\u2019 and latest single \u2018Sugar\u2019 is rising up the chart.<\/p>\n

Special guest on all shows is Swedish trio,\u00a0DIRTY LOOPS<\/strong>. Formed in 2008 while attending the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, the band\u2019s big break came when their version of Lady Gaga’s \u2018Just Dance\u2019 became an overnight viral sensation. They followed it up with creative covers of pop songs by Justin Bieber, Adele, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. The band released their debut album\u00a0Loopified<\/em>\u00a0on Universal Records in 2014, which boasts ten original tracks including standout single \u2018Hit Me\u2019.<\/p>\n
