The band started out of an 18-year friendship between\u00a0Bumblefoot<\/strong>\u00a0and the Votta brothers, dating back to the local New York music scene.\u00a0\u00a0Jon Votta<\/strong>\u00a0approached\u00a0Bumblefoot<\/strong>\u00a0with the idea of putting together a unique new rock band that would have people talking.\u00a0 They knew\u00a0Scott Weiland<\/strong>\u00a0would be the ideal singer to handle the band\u2019s musical diversity.\u00a0 Once Weiland was on-board, the band was completed by the aggressive, precise, melodic bass of career-rocker\u00a0John Moyer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

John Moyer<\/strong>, self-proclaimed hitman from Texas, brings a punchy bottom end that rounds out the sound of AOA. His in the pocket style can be heard throughout the whole album.<\/p>\n

Jon Votta<\/strong>, the grand architect behind\u00a0Art of Anarchy<\/strong>, co-wrote the soon-to-be-released album and shares lead responsibilities with\u00a0Bumblefoot<\/strong>. According to Votta, \u201cThis is the record I always dreamed of making since I started playing guitar\u201d.\u00a0Vince Votta<\/strong>\u00a0came up with the band name based upon these principles: it had to be extreme, uncompromising, and make a bold statement- much like his drum playing.<\/p>\n
