Kowalczyk brings the \u201cI Alone Acoustic Tour\u201d to his Australian fans in Sydney and Melbourne. Stripped back, intimate and disarming \u2013 Ed Kowalczyk will appear onstage with an acoustic guitar, some of rock\u2019s most profound anthems and the voice that has attracted legions of fans for more than two decades.<\/p>\n

Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10am Friday, 3 October, and are strictly limited.<\/p>\n

Kowalczyk has built one of rock\u2019s most impressive resumes.<\/p>\n

His band, Live, became one of the most successful and enduring alternative bands of the last twenty years, with more than 20 million albums sold worldwide. Among this catalogue are some of alternative rock\u2019s most iconic hits, including \u201cLightning Crashes\u201d, \u201cI Alone\u201d, \u201cSelling the Drama\u201d, \u201cThe Dolphin\u2019s Cry\u201d, \u201cOvercome\u201d and \u201cHeaven\u201d \u2013 many of which have been responsible for shaping the musical landscape for alternative rock around the globe.<\/p>\n

In 2010, Kowalczyk released his first solo album Alive<\/em>, which spawned the hit single \u201cGrace\u201d, which was followed in 2013 by The Flood and the Mercy<\/em>, which featured the hit song, \u201cSeven\u201d.<\/p>\n

For his newest creative offering, the \u201cI Alone Acoustic Tour\u201d \u2013 a nod to one of his most famous lyrics \u2013 Kowalczyk will perform a breathtaking solo-acoustic set, drawing from his entire Live catalogue, as well as songs from his solo releases.<\/p>\n
