Live Nation is excited to announce that legendary Swedish\u00a0pop-rockers\u00a0ROXETTE\u00a0are returning to Australia for a national tour in summer 2015.<\/p>\n

After the\u00a02011-2012\u00a0World Tour that took them around the globe twice over, playing to more than 1.5 million people in 46 countries including our very own shores, Roxette – Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle – are ready to do it all again with the Aussie leg of their world tour kicking off in February, joined on all shows by special guests Boom Crash Opera.<\/p>\n

Tickets for all shows on sale 9am Tuesday May 27.<\/p>\n

Roxette\u00a0will begin their Australian tour in Brisbane on February 10 before heading onto Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Wollongong and Sydney. The band also play two very special A Day On The Green winery concerts in the Hunter Valley NSW and Yarra Valley VIC.<\/p>\n

One of Sweden\u2019s finest exports,\u00a0Roxette\u00a0have a string of much loved hits under their belt including\u00a0Listen To Your Heart,\u00a0The Look,\u00a0How Do You Do,\u00a0Spending My Time,\u00a0Joyride,\u00a0Dangerous,\u00a0Sleeping In My Car,\u00a0Dressed For Success, It Must Have Been Love, Almost Unreal\u00a0and many, many more.<\/p>\n

Arguably one of the world\u2019s most successful\u00a0power-pop\u00a0duos,\u00a0Roxette\u00a0this year celebrate the 25th\u00a0anniversary of their juggernaut hit single\u00a0The Look\u00a0reaching #1 on the Billboard US Chart in 1989. This track kicked off one of music\u2019slongest-running\u00a0pop careers with the duo selling more than 75 million albums worldwide to date. The band topped the Australian singles charts\u00a0three-times\u00a0with smash hits\u00a0It Must Have Been Love,\u00a0Joyride\u00a0and\u00a0The Look,\u00a0with five of their albums reaching the Top 10 on the Australian album charts.<\/p>\n

The band\u2019s\u00a0come-back\u00a0began in 2011 with the release of hit single\u00a0She\u2019s Got Nothing On (But The Radio)\u00a0lifted from the album \u201cCharm School\u201d. This, along with their sellout\u00a02011-2012\u00a0World Tour, cemented the fact that\u00a0Roxette\u00a0were back bigger than ever, much to the joy of fans worldwide.<\/p>\n
