After 25 years in rock n roll, the Artist otherwise known as Mark Lizotte has delivered an album that melds all the varied sides of his musical personality \u2013 and reveals a few new ones besides.<\/p>\n

World, meet \u2018Let it Fly\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all of my life\u2019s work so far brought to fruition, in many ways. It\u2019s pretty encompassing,\u201d says Diesel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u2018Let It Fly\u2019<\/em><\/strong> is Diesel at his timeless best.\u00a0 An album of twelve new songs, \u2018Let It Fly\u2019<\/em><\/strong> is a superb display of the diversity of the multi-instrumentalist\u2019s musicianship working in harmony with his singing, song-writing and production skills.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cStylistically,\u201d says Diesel, \u201cit\u2019s got the R&B DNA in it that\u2019s very me.\u201d\u00a0 That Diesel DNA, so familiar for 25 years, has sprouted new strands \u2013 new instruments, new friends, new stories, new insights and a glimpse at the next generation.<\/p>\n

\u2018Let It Fly\u2019<\/em><\/strong> will be released through Liberation on August 9th<\/sup>, 2013.<\/span><\/p>\n

To introduce the new album, there will be a special series of four only \u2018Fans First\u2019<\/em> events in July\/August. The \u2018Fans First\u2019<\/em> events will have a strictly limited amount of tickets available for purchase.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The \u2018Fans First\u2019<\/em> shows are an<\/strong> exclusive opportunity to give Diesel<\/strong>\u2019s loyal audience a chance to experience the new songs in a unique environment prior to release. Diesel will perform<\/strong> these events solo.\u00a0 Diesel <\/em>will also participate in a<\/strong> Q & A session with the \u2018Fans First\u2019<\/em><\/strong> <\/strong>\u00a0audience members at each of these events.\u00a0\u00a0 A copy of the new album \u2018Let It Fly\u2019<\/em><\/strong> with a signed slick will be shipped to patrons of the \u2018Fans First\u2019<\/em><\/strong> events as close to the release date (9th Aug) as possible.<\/p>\n
