Band to take in more than 30 tour dates across Australia <\/strong><\/p>\n

Evermore have their music bus packed and are ready to roll out one of the biggest tours of their career – a troubadour\u2019s journey around Australia to perform the songs from their brilliant new album \u2018Follow The Sun\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 Evermore brothers Jon and Pete Hume start the tour in their adopted homestate of Victoria on 17th<\/sup> April, before making their way through enough music halls, band rooms and concert venues to reach anyone who has loved the recent singles \u2018Hero\u2019<\/strong> or \u2018Follow The Sun\u2019,<\/strong> and the band\u2019s many career hits.<\/p>\n

\u2018Follow The Sun\u2019 <\/strong>was released in October 2012, with the band debuting the new music at a string of stadium shows in support of Maroon 5, then Matchbox Twenty. This \u2018Hero\u2019<\/strong> tour will now be the first opportunity for fans to hear the triumphant new music at Evermore\u2019s own headline shows.<\/p>\n

Jon Hume said today, \u2018It\u2019s the first time in nearly four years that Evermore has toured Australia to this extent, it\u2019s long overdue!\u00a0 Peter and I are looking forward to playing this album live, along with the old favourites such as Running and Light Surrounding You, to audiences all over the country.\u00a0 We\u2019re visiting places on this tour that we\u2019ve never been before!\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n

Internationally, the band have enjoyed recent, massive breakthroughs with the prestigious HBO Network<\/strong> selecting \u2018Follow The Sun\u2019<\/strong> as the music bed for their 2013 new season TV promo that is running across North America. Dreamworks<\/strong> Studio has also selected \u2018Follow The Sun\u2019<\/strong> for the trailer of their forthcoming animated feature \u2018The Croods\u2019<\/strong> for the US also.<\/p>\n

The band will be heading to the States for shows in July, so the \u2018Hero\u2019<\/strong> tour is the perfect place to see the band live – before we potentially lose them to allure of the Northern Hemisphere!<\/p>\n
