degreed is a Stockholm based Melodic Hardrock band formed in the beginning of 2005.<\/p>\n

After many years of touring, gaining credabillity and fans the band released their critically acclaimed debut album\u00a0\u201dlife,love,loss\u201d in the fall of 2010 through Melodic Rock Records (Europe\/USA), Spinning INC (Japan) and\u00a0Rambo\/Sony Music Entertainment (Sweden).<\/p>\n

The band has also released a limited edition issue of their album \u201dlife,love,loss\u201d on Rambo\/Sony. Along with the release\u00a0of the limited edition album, the band teamed up with Gain Music Entertainment (Hardcore Superstar, Mustach, CrashDiet etc.) to run a promotion campaign which would help the band to reach out to a wider audience.<\/p>\n

Before degreed even released their first album they managed to tour Scandinavia and Germany, getting sponsored by\u00a0legendary brands like Hagstr\u00f6m and T-Rex, share stage with greats like Europe, Turbonegro, Millencolin among others\u00a0and represent one of the largest musical instrument distributors in Europe – Musik Meyer on the largest public music\u00a0fair in the world back in 2007.<\/p>\n

\u201d..if these are the bands other labels are passing on i suggest they need better A&R guys. ‘Life,Love,Loss’ is not the sort\u00a0of album anyone should overlook.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now the band has once again teamed up with producer\/songwriter Erik Lidbom (the first degreed album, Arashi, Kat-Tun, E.X.I.L.E, Masterplan to name a few) to record the second album, which they plan to release during the spring of\u00a02013 throughout the world on Spectra Records (USA\/Canada), Spinning INC (Japan) and the band’s management are\u00a0currently negotiating for a deal in Europe.<\/p>\n

Erik Lidbom has also written a few songs for the album, amongst them two together with multiplatinum and Grammy\u00a0Award winning singer\/songwriter Bill Champlin (former singer of Chicago, songwriter for Earth, Wind and Fire etc.). \u00a0Bill Champlin sang on the Chicago nr.1 hit “Look Away” as well as singles “You’re Not Alone” and “Hard Habit to\u00a0Break”. Now Bill will make another mark in history by singing a few lines on the new degreed album. The album will\u00a0also feature a song with the Japanese band Godbrother.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
