In March the new Avantasia album “The Mystery Of Time” will be released. \u00a0The list of featured artists who have been confirmed for the album reads like a who-is-who in Rock and Metal: Biff Byford (Saxon), Ronnie Atkins (Pretty Maids), Michael Kiske (Unisonic, ex-Helloween), Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon, ex-Vengeance), Bruce Kulick (GFR, ex-Meat Loaf, ex-Kiss) have been confirmed so far, others will be announced soon. Now another legend of Rock history has been announced: Eric Martin of US-platinum sellers MR. BIG is singing a role on the album and will join AVANTASIA on stage during the “Mystery World Tour”, starting in April.<\/p>\n

On the guest appearance of Pretty Maids Ronnie Atkins, Tobias comments: “I have been a huge Pretty Maids fan since I was a teenager. I already asked Ronnie to be on the Metal Opera in 1999, but he was busy back then. Last year I saw Pretty Maids live, and they were a steam train on stage, unbelievable. After the show we met and Ronnie was a great guy. Finally after 13 years, I am really proud to have him on the new Avantasia album. And his kick-ass performance leaves no doubt: It was a great decision to ask him!”<\/p>\n
