The Bronx<\/strong>\u00a0are back with\u00a0The Bronx (IV)<\/em><\/strong>, the first album in five years from Australia\u2019s favourite LA punk band. Today, the world gets a taste with\u00a0\u2018Ribcage,\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0the first single lifted from the album, which is now available from iTunes and on 7\u201d vinyl at\u00a0www.punkshop.com.au\/bronx\/<\/a>. The limited edition vinyl also features\u00a0\u2018Into The Black,\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0a previously unreleased B-Side.<\/div>\n

The Bronx (IV)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>will be released through White Drugs\/Shock in Australia and New Zealand on February 8, 2013. Produced by\u00a0<\/em>Beau Burchell,\u00a0The Bronx (IV)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is the band\u2019s first album in five years and comes as the group celebrates its 10th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary. Punching out 12 tracks in just under 40 minutes,\u00a0The Bronx (IV)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0has picked up where\u00a0The Bronx (III)<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>left off; an album which\u00a0NME<\/em>\u00a0hailed as a \u201cbrilliantly sleazy punk rock\u2019n\u2019roll album,\u201d urging: \u201cPlay it loud; for 33 thrilling minutes it\u2019ll make you feel like you can walk through walls.\u201d<\/div>\n

Since the release of\u00a0The Bronx (III)<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>in late 2008, the band members have recorded two eponymously titled mariachi albums as\u00a0Mariachi El Bronx<\/strong>, a project which has already seen Australian shores a few times, most recently at the Big Day Out 2012 festival nationally.<\/p>\n
