\"\"<\/a>It\u2019s just over a month until\u00a0THE LIVING END\u00a0<\/strong>kick off their massive\u00a039 DATE RETROSPECTIVE TOUR\u00a0<\/strong>and the band are now ready to reveal the huge list of special guest bands and DJs who be joining them on the road. In all,\u00a018 BANDS & 7 SPECIAL GUEST DJs<\/strong>\u00a0ranging from Australian Rock Royalty, iconic 90s punk legends and the next crop of Australian music upstarts will join\u00a0TLE\u00a0<\/strong>on their historic and record breaking\u00a0RETROSPECTIVE TOUR<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With a list as long and illustrious as this one it\u2019s best that we start from the top. JoiningTHE LIVING END<\/strong>\u00a0on their run of Retrospective Tour shows in\u00a0PERTH<\/strong>\u00a0will be three of WA\u2019s finest up and coming bands.\u00a0SONS OF RICO, THE GROWL & THE NOVOCAINS\u00a0<\/strong>will share the opening duties at the Rosemount Hotel in the first week of November. Also joining the bill for all shows on the Perth leg will be special guest DJs Brad & Zok from\u00a0GYROSCOPE.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In\u00a0ADELAIDE<\/strong>\u00a0The Living End will be joined by Australian punk\/ska legends and old school touring buddies\u00a0AREA 7\u00a0<\/strong>for three shows and Adelaide locals and all round good guys\u00a0CITY RIOTS\u00a0<\/strong>will fill the support slot on all remaining shows. DJ duties for the SA jaunt will be split up between hairy-faced locals\u00a0THE BEARDS<\/strong>\u00a0and young South Australian upstarts\u00a0DANGEROUS!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

When The Retrospective Tour rolls into Sydney in the last week of November the band will be joined by Melbourne indie rock stalwarts\u00a0EVEN\u00a0<\/strong>for three consecutive nights, Sydney locals\u00a0CABINS\u00a0<\/strong>will take support duties for two shows and\u00a0AREA 7<\/strong>\u00a0will once again join\u00a0TLE\u00a0<\/strong>for both performances of their debut self titled album. Spinning tunes each night during the Sydney stint will be\u00a02manyPJs<\/strong>\u00a0more commonly known as\u00a0PHIL JAMIESON\u00a0<\/strong>from\u00a0GRINSPOON.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brisbane locals will be treated to four different bands over TLE\u2019s seven-night stay at the Zoo in the first week of December. Sunshine Coasters\u00a0BAND OF FREQUENCIES<\/strong>, Brisbane boys\u00a0THE MEDICS\u00a0<\/strong>and Melbourne\u2019s\u00a0KINGSWOOD<\/strong>\u00a0will all fill support spots in Brisbane as well as two very special guest appearances by\u00a0ASH GRUNWALD.\u00a0<\/strong>The DJ shoes for these shows will be filled by\u00a0HAMISH ROSSER (WOLFMOTHER, EX- VINES).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

When\u00a0THE LIVING END\u00a0<\/strong>return to their hometown\u00a0MELBOURNE,<\/strong>\u00a0they will share the stage with a total of\u00a0EIGHT\u00a0<\/strong>bands during their record breaking run of\u00a011 SHOWS<\/strong>\u00a0at the Corner Hotel. Firstly, TLE are honoured to have Melbourne favourite and national treasure\u00a0SOMETHING FOR KATE\u00a0<\/strong>join them for their performance of MODERN ARTillery. The extremely mysterious and endearing\u00a0IVY AND THE BIG APPLES<\/strong>\u00a0will join TLE for two of their hometown show dates and 90s favorites\u00a0AREA 7<\/strong>\u00a0&\u00a0THE MEANIES\u00a0<\/strong>will also step up to fill support spots.<\/p>\n

Opening duties for the newly announced under 18s daytime show will be filled by young Melbourne punks\u00a0THE SMITH STREET BAND,\u00a0<\/strong>who will also join TLE for their performance of their most recent release The Ending is just the Beginning Repeating.<\/strong>The remainder of the Retrospective Melbourne dates will see up and coming local bandsKINGSWOOD, DAVE LARKIN BAND & MONEY FOR ROPE\u00a0<\/strong>take to the stage for support duties. And finally, the DJ decks for all 11 Melbourne dates will be manned by the enigmatic\u00a0COSMIC DOLPHIN\u00a0<\/strong>(Johnny Mackay from\u00a0CHILDREN COLLIDE<\/strong>).<\/p>\n
