Hailing from the UK, Tommy Justice is not a name you are likely to have heard of before, unless you\u2019ve already read our interview with him on the pages of May The Rock Be With You?\u00a0 On debut album Setting Fire To History, <\/em>Tommy Justice delivers one hell of an impressive straight up hard rock record.\u00a0 Opening up with Every Inch The Rock Star <\/em>no time is wasted in getting to the point of what Tommy Justice is all about – massive gang vocal chorus\u2019s, blazing guitars riffs, some pretty shit hot guitar shredding pyrotechnics all topped off with a damn impressive production for what\u2019s an independent release.<\/p>\n

Love You To Death <\/em>will hook in anyone with a love of the Kane Roberts, Chris Laney, Desmond Child and Mutt Lange style of bombastic rock anthems.\u00a0 Actually this song could easily slot right in on Alice Cooper\u2019s Trash <\/em>album and it would probably have been released as a single too.\u00a0 Let Me In <\/em>is another song that you could class as \u201csingle\u201d worthy, whilst Backstreets For Lovers <\/em>and Open Ride <\/em>mix things in a raw and sleazy way.\u00a0 Everywhere I Look <\/em>draws on the Bon Jovi and Def Leppard school of power ballads and does it in fine style complete with all the trimmings, yes even down to a big drum fill, awesome!\u00a0 Thrill Seeker <\/em>and Take It All Away <\/em>take things into a more metallic direction with the latter having that real Iron Maiden galloping feel. \u00a0There’s a pretty impressive bag of tricks unleashed on us through this album, but at the core is always an appreciation for the song and that means plenty of my favourites – hooks, big choruses and melodies, things that I say there can never be enough of in a song!<\/p>\n

Setting Fire To History<\/em> is a mighty fine debut album that deserves to get Tommy Justice heard amongst the wider hard rock community…so what are you waiting for, go listen! \u00a0http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/gb\/album\/setting-fire-to-history\/id509581270
